In lieu of an Instagram Post I just posted I thought I would do a blog post on it !
This statement to me means if every you had a dream to pursue it. You never know how long you are going to be here so while you are do what you can to change the world and make a difference.
With pop culture I feel like sometimes this message gets misconstrued or misinterpreted into drugs,money,sex, weed (this comes from the earth that’s why I gave it its own category… um yeah.. drugs to me are things people make.. not mother nature… if that was the case that poisonous frog people lick, I can’t think of the name at the moment, is a drug too…so we should try to eradicate him too lol ).
Yes it is pop culture is prevalent in our face errry day all day ! But that doesn’t mean that we have to do as it says. Yes it may influence our youth but in all honesty how our kids grow up begins in the home. Pop culture and rap should not have more influence on your child than you do. What they take seriously begins in the home. How they conduct their life begins in the home. Everything begins in the home. Parents need to teach their kids that everything they read or see on the tv is not real and take accountability for their lack of parenting skills when their child wearing baggy jeans and cussing at them. That’s your fault (the parent) not pop culture. Kids mimic parents why do you think you have to watch what you say around kids ? Parents are kids role models ! And it is your job to conduct your life how you wish your child to grow up…
Ok Im done.. lol Hopefully my rant makes sense just felt like free writing and voicing my opinion.. tangent.. I did not re read over this either !

Ok So somehow I always end up in a non-aggressive argument about who are the greatest athletes… Or What sport has the most versatile athletes to be specific.
I will touch on the greatest athlete of all time on another Question of the Day.
So to “resolve” the issue lets take it to social media !

Loved it !
Every girl needs a Gatsby.. Maybe not that extreme but you get the point…
This song was featured in the movie and I absolutely love this emotionally insecure damaged song !

Not a day goes by where someone asks me if I am named after Serena Williams the famous tennis player.
This one is for you !
Do you have a celebrity name ? How do you feel about it ? Gotten anything free (I haven’t) ?
Sidenote: I realize the text on my board is backwards…. go figure .. to be honest it’s not all that important and you can read it
